Supporting Local Solutions for Healthier Communities
Our Project Grant program offers funding for innovative, evidence-based, or community-driven work that directly improves health and wellness. Requests must align with at least one BFO pillar and be located within at least one county within the BFO service region.
Purpose
Project Grants are designed to fund both new and existing work, including program expansion, capacity building, and local pilot initiatives.
Funding Guidelines
- Request Amount: $1,000 - $40,000 per project
- Limit: One award per organization/ department per year
- Duration: 1-year implementation period

Eligibility
To apply, applicants/ projects must:
- Serve residents in at least one of BFO's eight counties.
- Align with at least one BFO grant pillar.
- Operate as a nonprofit, governmental entity, or school.
- Not compete with services offered by Deaconess Memorial Medical Center.
